Renault Koleos goes through another update

The facelift the Renault Koleos went through in Europe last year barely touched upon its design, so another one comes up now with greater stylistic changes.

The shape of the headlights stays the same, but the LED contents inside are brand new. The brake lights sport 3D patterns, and the turn blinkers now have the scrolling line effect.

Perhaps more importantly, the manufacturer only offers the more upmarket Intens and Initiale Paris trims now, complete with leather and imitation wood inserts in the cabin. New interior color schemes are available.

As far as the powertrains are concerned, the crossover SUV received its latest major update last summer, trading a 1.7-liter diesel for a 1.3-liter gas turbo. Power went up from 150 to 158 PS (110 – 116 kW), delivered to the front wheels via the same EDC dual-clutch transmission.

Prices start from €48,000. A higher spec with a 2.0-liter turbo diesel, 184 PS (135 kW), CVT and AWD now has the Hill Descend Assist feature and costs from €49,000 (Initiale Paris trim only).
