Koenigsegg takes every Regera to 300 km/h before shipping

Following all the pre-sale QA procedures can be repetitive and boring, but things become decidedly more exhilarating when you deal with a hypercar like the Koenigsegg Regera.
The Swedish automaker makes sure every one of the cars shipped to its clients first makes it to the 300 kilometers per hour (186 mph) mark. The test crew also checks if it can hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.8 seconds as advertised.
For those who forgot, the Regera comes powered by a 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8 assisted by triple electric motors. Its Direct Drive system eliminates the need to switch between gears.
The production run, which has already been sold out, includes 80 units priced around €2 million.
