Lexus LC 500 dons black in Inspiration Series

Lexus has rolled out an Inspiration version of the latest Lexus LC 500, landing it with numerous carbon fiber accents, dark outer décor and a special interior.

Specifically, the coupe gets black forged wheels 21 inches across, a Dark Obsidian paintjob, a carbon-fiber roof and a spoiler with rounded sides for enhanced aerodynamic performance. The spoiler should also remind you about the planes that took part in Red Bull Air Races.

Carbon fiber trim elements find their way inside the cabin as well, where they are accompanied by commemorative plaques, 13 audio speakers summing up to 915W, brown accents, and bucket seats wrapped in brown leather and dark Alcantara.

Things stay stock under the hood, where a 5.0-liter V8 produces 471 PS (464 hp / 346 kW) and 539 Nm (398 lb-ft) of torque. A ten-speed automatic gearbox directs the power to the rear wheels and takes the car from standstill to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.4 seconds.

The production run will be limited to 100 units, and prices remain pending.
