Mansory unveils the Mercedes-AMG G63 Gronos

Mansory is no stranger to turning Mercedes-Benz G-Class SUVs into armored cars or even pickup trucks, and while the Gronos is neither, it still packs plenty of innate charm and charisma.

The hardcore off-roader now wears a British Racing Green livery with a slew of carbon-fiber accents for contrast. The largest of these accents can be found on the hood and the roof, while smaller ones are used for air intakes, door grips, spare wheel cover, and air vents behind the wheel arches.

The interior shines anew with a beige leather makeover and carbon fiber inserts in the steering wheel. The pedals boast aluminum covers, and there are the 3D engravings on the seats. Overall, the combination of a dark exterior with a light interior looks tasteful and appealing.

The twin-turbo V8 under the hood enjoys a boost to 850 PS (838 hp / 625 kW) courtesy of new turbochargers and software. The tuner reports that the G63 can now hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.5 seconds and ultimately reach 250 km/h (155 mph) in a straight line.

The pricing behind all this goodness remains undisclosed to the public at large, but those interested should act quickly, given a production run of only 10 units.
