Canada announces its own EV brand

AK Motor International Corporation has established a new hybrid and electric vehicle brand named Maple Majestic; the company hopes to ultimately evolve it into Canada’s largest EV manufacturer.
Founder Arkadiusz Kaminski migrated from Poland into Canada in 1982. The first Maple Majestic vehicle comes based on the CANU Project prototype that AK Motor first mentioned a few years ago. The electric vehicle is said to have been specifically designed to withstand challenging weather conditions. It has a wheelbase spanning 3.1 meters (10.17 feet) and a ground clearance adjustable between 140 and 290 mm (5.5 – 11.3 inches).
No further technical specs have been announced so far. Availability dates remain likewise unknown. As for the price, the EV is described as a “supercar with four doors”, so it will likely come in close to U.S. $150,000.
