In its latest generation, the Ford Kuga gets a hybrid version that should secure brisk sales in Europe for the SUV. Aftermarket suspension specialist H&R has just started selling a lowering spring kit for it.
Depending on the specific configuration, buyers can expect between 30 and 35 millimeters (1.2” – 1.4”) of lowering at each axle. 2WD and 4WD are both supported, but you’re out of luck if you opted for adaptive shocks or a special bad road suspension pack. Then again, why would you want to lower a dedicated off-road suspension kit, right?
The full set costs €308 and should help enter corners at higher speeds. A sportier stance is another nice benefit, and H&R claims long-term driving comfort should remain at the same level. Also on offer are wheel spacers that cost from €126 per axle and extend the wheel span by between 18 and 40 mm (0.7” – 1.6”).
Just three weeks ago, the company launched a similar upgrade for the Ford Puma ST – watch the video if you are interested.
