Kia reveals the 2022 K3 GT

In the world where SUVs and crossovers have won, seeing a good old hatchback strive can be refreshing. After debuting the K3 facelift in South Korea, Kia has now shown us its GT version.

The car features the same range of exterior improvements as the sedan, plus some red grille accents and a new rear diffuser with dual exhaust finishers.

While not exactly a hot hatch, the K3 GT still has some sporty features about it, in particular Bilstein shocks, multi-link rear suspension, Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires and upgraded brakes.

Inside, there is a digital gauge cluster, a large infotainment display, sport seats, red accents, and aluminum inserts.

Powering the car is a 1.6-liter gasoline engine turbocharged to deliver 201 PS (198 hp / 148 kW) and 265 Nm (195 lb-ft) of torque.
