$15k will make your C8 Corvette barely recognizable; are you sold?

Looking at the mid-engined Chevrolet C8 Corvette, one may get carried away and forget that it is a normal sports car and not a fancy supercar – it is just that striking. Still, Sigala Designs felt it needed a complete exterior overhaul.

The styling package goes by the name of CBRR and includes a whopping 32 components. Aside from the brutally flared fenders, these include a reshaped front fascia with a splitter and a ventilated hood, a prominent rear diffuser, an aggressive-looking trunk lip, and a rather over-the-top rear wing. As far as options go, Sigala Designs offers a new roof for your ‘Vette and LED illumination for all the assorted grilles.

The GFRP version of the kit will set you back U.S. $15,000, while going for carbon fiber will add another $10,000 to the price. Is it worth it? Frankly said, we do not see that much appeal, because we find the C8 looks perfectly adequate straight from the factory. Also, the kit looks like it is trying too hard and going too far to disrupt the OEM styling. Then again, naturally you are entitled to a different opinion.
