Video: Audi S4 family hauler hits 305 km/h
Can a mundane-looking Audi S4 Avant (B5) launch faster than the Bugatti Chiron? You might think the question is rhetorical, but wait until you have seen this extremely tuned example.
German company TTD was responsible for the project. The stock twin-turbo V6 with 265 PS (261 hp / 195 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque vacated the engine bay, making room for a much more tuning-friendly RS4 (B5) mill. It was then completely overhauled to produce 1,400 metric horsepower (1,381 hp / 1,030 kW). The transmission was also borrowed from the RS4 and reinforced to prevent damage.
In the video, the station wagon snaps into acceleration and hits 305 km/h (189.5 mph) seconds later.
