2022 Skoda Karoq breaks cover with modern appearance and features

The latest Skoda Karoq came out in 2017 and was ripe for an update, which finally arrived today with both cosmetic and practical improvements.

You can tell the 2022 Karoq by its wider radiator grille and slimmer head- and taillights. Matrix LEDs are obtainable at a premium, but even the cheapest trim has LEDs all around.

A new trim package called Eco will be available for the interior, offering a mix of recycled and plant-based materials. Piano Black and Unique Chrome panels are available for the doors and the dashboard.

In its simplest form, the Karoq has an 8-inch dashboard, but you can specify a larger 10.25-inch gauge display. The infotainment screen is even smaller at 6.5 inches across and is available in 8-inch size. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are both supported, as is wireless charging. The audio system is Canton-branded.

Pricing and technical specifications are pending.
