Renault Sport reveals a Clio R.S. facelift
Renault Sport, a subdivision of the worldwide known French car company Renault, has posted an image of a facelifted Renault Clio R.S. sporty high-end hatchback. The vehicle is reported to look a bit like Renault’s latest Formula One racecar still in the works.
The facelift is named Renault Clio R.S. 18 and gets to keep its stock 1.6-liter engine with 220 hp and 280 Nm torque. It comes with lower suspension, new shock absorbers and springs, and a Torque Boost feature which can momentarily increase torque by 20 Nm.
Frankly, the effort of the French design team looks pretty awesome. With its new coal-black body lacquer and bright yellow accents, the “supercharged” Renault Clio R.S. 18 really stands out in the crowd. Unique alloy wheels and red brake supports add to the impression.
The vehicle enters showrooms in Europe this spring.
