The 2020 Tesla Roadster caught on camera in LA
The next-gen 2020 Tesla Roadster, driven by none other than the company’s Chief Designer Franz von Holzhausen, has been photographed on a public road in Los-Angeles, U.S.A. This is a first public sighting of the ultra-powerful battery car.
The vehicle was announced on November 17, 2017 during the presentation of the Tesla Semi Truck. According to Elon Musk, is should be released to the mass market in 2020.
While no further technical specifications are being provided, Tesla claims their latest engine accelerates the Roadster 0-96 km/h (or 0-60 mph, if you prefer) in unbelievable 1.9 seconds – that’s better than Bugatti Chiron, by the way. That, and the car can go faster than 400 km/h (250 mph).
The price of this technological wonder remains unknown, although some experts voice estimations centered around U.S. $200,000.
