Thor unveils an electric RV prototype with 300 miles of range

Electric homes on wheels just keep coming! Thor joins in on the craze with the Vision Vehicle, a concept van advertised for its excellent autonomy.

The Vision is only a design study at this time, but the company intends to bring it into production and already has some technical parameters to tell us about. The most interesting one is the range, which is going to be close to 483 km (300 miles), nearly twice the range of the Winnebago EV RV shown the other week.

The Thor Vision stays true to the tenets of the digital era, offering access to most in-car features through touchscreen displays and implementing a sophisticated power management system to maximize time between charges.

Some of you may have noticed an Airstream trailer on one of the photos. This is not coincidental: motorhome maker Airstream is a subsidiary of Thor Industries.
