Reports: Chrysler 300 EV coming up in 2026

With only one sedan and a minivan on sale right now, the Chrysler brand needs revitalization – and fast. According to Drive citing anonymous sources, the sedan will stay in production for another year, after which an all-electric successor will come to replace it.

The current generation of the Chrysler 300 has been around since 2011 with only one minor update in 2015. The MPV is not much better off: while not as abandoned as its cousin, it still largely relies on hopelessly outdated tech. Sales speak for themselves: the marque sold a dismal 209,842 units in the United States in 2021, a big step down from 324,846 six years before.

As for the successor to the 300 model, the only thing we know right now is that it is going to be based on a cutting-edge Dodge chassis and offer up to 500 miles (805 kilometers) of driving range. None of this is official yet, of course.
