Acura Precision EV Concept set to debut on August 18
The Acura Precision EV will be previewing the brand’s new design language at the Monterey Car Week on August 18 as it strides towards full electrification. In the meantime, here is a short teaser vid previewing it.
The concept is shown with a front mesh grille backlit in blue; the same applies to the Acura badge in the middle. Headlights at the corners are triangular with thin light bars extending from them. The lower fascia has arched air openings also decorated with illuminated inserts.
It is unclear whether the Acura Precision EV Concept is in any way related to the Honda Prologue EV. When Honda introduced its all-electric crossover SUV, it did mention an Acura-badged variant of it coming to the market as well, so chances are fairly good.
The Prologue SUV runs on a U.S.-designed General Motors Ultium platform and is expected to reach the showrooms in 2024. We wouldn’t be surprised if the Acura EV appeared on sale around the same time.
