Bentley Batur shows up again ahead of August 21 premiere

Bentley’s newest design study named after the picturesque Lake Batur will make its live debut on Sunday, August 21. In the meantime, here is a new pic showing its radiator grille and a new video.

It is now obvious that the car has a coupe body: the side view reveals one door, a protruding front end and a short rear overhang. The accompanying text confirms that the Batur comes powered by a W12, said to produce record-breaking amounts of power and torque.

The coupe will preview the manufacturer’s new design philosophy applicable to all future EVs and come out in a series limited to just 12 units. It will become an ideological successor of sorts to the ultra-luxurious Bacalar, with each car taking six months to deliver. Despite technically being an EV design study, the production version of the car will utilize the W12 mentioned above, which will churn out around 650 PS (641 hp / 478 kW).
