A 21-year-old, barely used BMW Z8 is on sale near Moscow in Russia for an asking price of 25 million rubles, or €400,000. A quick googling suggests that the amount is well in line with the prices of other Z8 ‘time capsules’ like this, so it might be worth a look if you are into collecting exotics.

The claimed kilometrage is 8,000 km, which translates into around 5,000 miles. If so, the car should be pristine despite having two owners in its record. On the other hand, the listing only contains a few exterior photos and no interior/engine/underbody shots whatsoever, so care is advised.

BMW stylized its Z8 Roadster after the classic model named 507 dating back to the 1950s. The Z8 came out in a production run of slightly more than 5,700 units. Powering this example is a 4.9-liter V8 rated at 400 PS (394 hp / 294 kW), which a manual transmission carries to the rear axle.
