Nissan introduces the track-focused Z GT4

The Nissan Z GT4 is a track-only modification of the new Z coupe, and the automaker believes it embodies the marque’s 50-year-long history of racing victories. The official announcement video is full of nods to the company’s past.

Designed by Nismo, the Z GT4 received extensive modifications to its standard chassis. The body was reinforced and the suspension was upgraded, too. The company mentioned improvements to the standard 3.0-liter engine normally rated at 400 PS (394 hp / 294 kW) and 475 Nm (350 lb-ft) of torque, but did not provide any details.

Rounding off the list of changes is an aerodynamic kit with so far undisclosed specifications. The first customers will have their cars delivered to them in the first half of 2023. The full reveal of the Z GT4 will take place at the upcoming SEMA show in November.
