Hyundai Sonata Hybrid and PHEV debut at the Chicago show

Two latest variants of the Hyundai Sonata sedan – Hybrid and PHEV – have been officially introduced by the South Korean automotive giant Hyundai during the ongoing Chicago International Auto Show in the USA. Both models will be released mid-2018.
The new Hyundai Sonata comes with updated bumpers, LED lights, and radiator grille. Its interior houses a redesigned dashboard and an infotainment system with a giant touch-sensitive display.
The hood compartment of the latest Hyundai Sonata conceals a hybrid power train consisting of a 2.0-liter gasoline engine, an electric motor, and a battery set. It is coupled with a six-speed automatic transmission. The engine is capable of delivering up to 195 hp and offers an all-electric driving range of up to 43 kilometers (~26 miles).
