Honda launches sales of its updated 2018 Legend sedan in Japan
Honda has officially begun the sales of its next-generation 2018 Legend sedan in Japan. This is the first model update of the full-size car since its initial release in 2014. In other markets, it’s also known as the Acura RLX.
The new Honda Legend comes with a few noticeable appearance changes – a firmer body and a larger trunk compartment, among others. More importantly, however, it now takes advantage of the latest Honda Sensing system for added driving assistance and safety.
The technical specifications of the new Honda Legend remained otherwise unaltered – it still holds on to its hybrid drivetrain composed of a 3.5-liter, six-cylinder gasoline engine, three electric motors, and a seven-speed transmission. Of these, the gasoline unit delivers 314 horsepower, with the three electric engines contributing a total of 122 more.
The new 2018 Honda Legend costs 7,074,000 Japanese Yen and above to purchase.
