Volkswagen Arteon comes to the United States
Volkswagen AG has officially launched the sales of its latest Arteon fastback on the North American market. While the company holds no illusions regarding the car’s chances to become widely popular, it hopes that the release ultimately makes the brand more recognizable in the US.
The new Volkswagen Arteon fastback utilizes the MQB automotive platform, has a roomy and cozy interior, modern LED headlights, a chrome-coated radiator grille, and frameless side windows. The base trim level comes with heavy-duty aluminum wheels 18 inches large; senior models come with optional 19-inch wheels.
The interior manages to combine a design which looks modern and minimalistic with the use of premium-grade materials and state-of-the-art equipment that’s surprisingly easy to use. The stock Volkswagen Arteon normally ships with leather-clad sport seats, but these can be upgraded to warmed-up massage chairs at an extra cost. In addition to that, the driver can now take advantage of a climate control unit, a touchscreen-enabled multimedia system, an excellent car stereo set and other nice features that make driving a car a hassle-free and pleasant experience.
The new Volkswagen Arteon enters the U.S. market with a 2.0L TSI turbocharged engine capable of 268 hp and 350 Nm of torque.
