Lamborghini Aventador replacement nabbed on camera in partial camo

Back in 2021, Lamborghini confirmed that the Aventador Ultimae would be the swan song for the marque’s naturally aspirated V12. The successor is already in development, and a fresh spy video by Varris on YouTube shows it wearing less wrap than usual.

Like the Lamborghini CEO said earlier this month, the supercar is a plug-in hybrid: note the yellow ‘high voltage’ stickers on the rear fenders. For the main engine, it uses a V12 of a completely new design.

Other than this little detail, the footage is not particularly insightful. A closer look will let you see giant air intakes next to the doors and the Aventador’s signature tapering body shape, but that’s about it. Oh, and the six exhaust tips in the back are two-thirds fake: the two real tailpipes are the larger ones mounted below the four fake ones.

Lamborghini plans to unveil the successor to the Aventador next spring.
