The Isuzu MU-X (see video) will go on sale in a new modification called Phantom Collection in Thailand next month. The differences boil down to black décor and rims, but at least you can choose from both turbo diesel specs available in the country.

More specifically, the car rides on 20-inch Gloss Black wheels, sports black accents inside and outside, has a Smart Tailgate at the back and benefits from an extended package of driver assists named the Isuzu Matrix Safety Intelligence. The system utilizes a stereoscopic camera to reliably detect 3D objects, a couple of radars and as many as eight ultrasonic sensors.

The exterior can be either white (standard) or grey (new, optional). The base spec gets a 1.9-liter turbo diesel with 150 PS (148 hp / 110 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque. The top 3.0-liter TDI offers 190 PS (187 hp / 140 kW) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque. Both come with the same six-speed automatic transmission, but only the 3.0L TDI version gets four-wheel-drive, while the 1.9L spec makes do with RWD.
