Porsche releases Weissach body kit for the 911 GT3 RS
The German luxury car maker Porsche has released an optional upgrade package for the 911 GT3 RS supercar. You can purchase the basic carbon body kit at U.S. $18,000.
The Porsche 911 GT3 RS Weissach upgrade comes with a composite roof, all-carbon pillars, and stabilizers. It also replaces some of the body parts with ones made of carbon. Be prepared to throw in another $13,000 for an optional set of luxury-grade light alloy wheels.
All in all, the Weissach body kit strives to reduce the car weight as much as possible and thus improve its overall acceleration performance.
The latest generation of Porsche 911 GT3 RS cars debuted in February 2018. It received a 520-horsepower (387 kW) engine that could get it going at 100 km/h (62 mph) in as little as 3.2 seconds.
