19-year-old Lea Wagner boasts her 1,000-PS Supra racing machine

Wagner Tuning has produced a 1,000-horsepower version of the latest Toyota GR Supra for Lea Wagner, an inspiring car aficionado and racing driver who recently turned 19. The build is chock full of components and solutions used in professional motorsports, so let’s take a look.

Starting with the BMW-sourced three-liter inline-six under the hood, it received some attention from Kotte Performance in Germany. IRP pistons, forged connecting rods, a single Garrett G35-1050 turbocharger and a water/methanol injection system allowed it to push 1,000 PS (986 hp / 735 kW) to the wheels. The eight-speed automatic transmission was allowed to stay, but ended up with reinforcements designed to help it withstand the 1,190 Nm (878 lb-ft) of torque the car is capable of. Unfortunately, we haven’t seen any track performance figures yet.

On the outside, you will recognize Lea’s shiny new ride by 18-inch Weld Belmont wheels wrapped in Hoosier drag tires, KW Variant 3 suspension and a red/black Wagner wrap. The interior is as no-nonsense as you’d expect from a racecar, packing a roll cage, an automatic fire extinguishing system and six-point safety harnesses.
