Watch this video for an epic showdown between two unlikely foes, the six-wheeled prototype SUV Devel Sixty and the magnificent supercar Mercedes-AMG GT.

The race took place in Dubai, UAE, in nighttime specifically so as not to attract the unwanted police attention. The footage was then uploaded to the YouTube channel Mo Vlogs.

The six-wheel SUV comes equipped with a 6.75-liter V8 turbo diesel engine good for 720 hp (537 kW). Driven by a monster engine like this, the bulky off-road vehicle has no trouble picking up to 100 km/h (62 mph) in under six seconds.

The sleek and sporty Mercedes-AMG GT, on the other hand, houses a 4.0-liter V8 engine full 200 ‘horses’ (150 kW) less powerful.

You’d think a light and maneuverable sports vehicle would have no trouble overtaking a heavyweight SUV – but the performance gap proved too much for the poor GT to cover. The conceptual Devel Sixty ended up winning the drag race in Dubai.
