Mercedes-Benz launches V-Class Night Edition, costs €55,000+
Mercedes-Benz has launches sales of the Mercedes-Benz V-Class Night Edition van. All those willing to buy the restyled vehicle may expect to pay over €55,000.
As its name implies, the car features mostly black exterior and interior finish. There is a glossy black radiator grille, dark side mirror holders, black-spoked 19-inch design wheels, dimmed headlights and tinted rear windows.
The ‘midnight’ theme carries over into the passenger space as well. There is dark Nappa leather trimming on the seats, with the matching ceiling, dashboard and floor mats. The available equipment includes a 360-degree camera view system, parking sensors and certain other driver aids.
The hood cover of the Mercedes-Benz V-Class Night Edition conceals a 2.1-liter diesel engine good for 190 hp (142 kW).
Those familiar with the industry trends tend to believe that the ‘nocturnal’ version of the van will enjoy reasonably good sales. The Mercedes-Benz V-Class series has seen a steady increase in sales numbers over the past years: from 22,390 cars sold in 2015 to almost 29,000 in 2016 and over 31,000 in 2017.
