GMC Yukon now available in U.S. Graphite Edition
The GMC Yukon Graphite Edition can now be purchased in the United States. The special series comes with a stronger engine and a number of new stylistic features.
There are two trim levels of the GMC Yukon Graphite Edition to choose between, the baseline one and Performance. The former ships with shiny, silver-tinted 22” wheels with decorative carbon inlets, a black radiator grille overlaid by a chrome grid, and also has chromed moldings and roof railings.
The top-spec Yukon Graphite Performance Edition ships with a 6.2-liter V8 engine capable of 420 hp and a 10-speed automatic transmission. The package also includes 22-inch glossy-black wheels, an 8-inch navigation display, and a hi-end GMC infotainment system.
Either of the two can be ordered rear- or all-wheel-driven. Lacquering choices are limited to black, white and metallic grey. Prices remain undisclosed, even as the start of sales draws nearer.
It must be said that the GMC Yukon SUV is pretty popular on the North American market. Annual sales in 2015 through 2017 varied between 42,000 and 53,000 copies, with a slight downward trend over the past several months.
