Chevrolet Camaro SS undergoes large-scale customization
A car tuning atelier has recently revealed a rather radical take on the Chevrolet Camaro SS sport car. The vehicle has got a number of carbon aerodynamic parts, new rims and a few under-the-hood improvements.
The tuner team has replaced its hood cover, fenders, front splitter, kick plates, number plate mount, diffusor and spoiler with ones made of carbon fiber. The car also received a set of 19-inch CCW Concave wheels clad in Continental performance tires.
The interior of the overhauled Chevrolet Camaro SS now features sport seats and racing-grade safety belts.
Suspension changes boiled down to the installation of new shock absorbers, coilovers and springs. The stock brake discs got swapped for 15-inch Wilwood Aerolight discs.
The drivetrain of the custom Chevrolet Camaro SS also received a number of improvements. The car now benefits from new injection and exhaust systems, as well as certain SLP Performance Parts. Its dynamic performance isn’t being disclosed, though.
In its base version, the muscle car ships with a 6.2-liter V8 engine capable of 455 hp (339 kW) and a 6-speed manual transmission. Automatic transmission is optionally available.
The costs of the upgrade remained unannounced.
