U.S. atelier Hennessey has announced a limited series of Ford Mustang muscle cars, named the Heritage Edition, to celebrate 10,000 customized vehicles.

The series will be based on the top-spec Ford Mustang GT with a 5.0-liter V8 engine boosted to 808 hp (603 kW) and 918 Nm (677 lb·ft) of torque. Driven by an engine like this, the muscle car accelerates 0-100 km/h (0-60 mph) in 3.3 seconds.

The tuned-up Ford Mustang Heritage Edition by Hennessey will get an aerodynamic body kit made out of carbon and a slew of technical upgrades, including lowered suspension, new giant wheels, a better intercooler, a powerful turbocharger, a stainless-steel exhaust system, and Brembo performance brakes.

The atelier will process orders made by international customers as well as those in the USA. Production plans include 19 such vehicles priced at U.S. $90,000 and above, each covered by a three-year warranty.
