Nissan rolls out a facelifted Ariya for Europe

You can recognize the 2026 Nissan Ariya for the EU by its new exterior details and added equipment, while the powertrain stays untouched.

Compared to the original electric SUV that debuted in 2022, the newcomer sports a body-matched slab where the radiator grille usually is and a simplified front bumper with a massive trapezoid air intake beneath. The headlights and taillights have also been updated, and a couple new shades have been added to the exterior color palette.

Inside, the “levitating” center console has a pocket for wireless phone charging, as well as two lid-free cup holders. The driver gets improved surround view cameras and lane control. More Google Services are available straight from the factory, and the car can now share its power with external appliances via a standard V2L interface.

Like before, the only electric motor there is sits at the front axle, driving it with either 217 PS (214 hp / 160 kW) or 242 PS (239 hp / 178 kW) depending on the version. Select markets enjoy access to a dual-motor Ariya variant with 306 PS (302 hp / 225 kW). The peak WLTP-rated range comes to 530 kilometers (329 miles). Nissan also mentions certain “suspension tweaks”, but little besides.

Prices in Germany start from €58,840.
