The two-minute trailer of “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts” introduces a new kind of heroes – robots turning into popular automotive classics.
For example, the protagonist drives a silver Porsche 911 (964) with blue stripes. It remains to be seen whether there will be anyone driving Bumblebee (the yellow Chevy Camaro), but we have little doubt that one of the franchise’s most bankable heroes will be prominently featured.
Also noticeable in the trailer is a classic Volkswagen bus, which – you guessed it – also plays on the side of the Autobots. It remains to be seen what that Nissan Skyline GT-R R33 transformer is about. He only appears for a brief moment, but there is no ignoring its numerous modifications.
That one of the new Transformers would turn into a Ducati 916 bike the media learned in the fall of 2021, as soon as the first photos from the filming set emerged. The off-road-modded Camaro was also present there.
The latest instalment of Transformers takes the action back into the year 1994, hence the abundance of classics. The big screen premiere remains scheduled on June 9, 2023.
