1987 Porsche 911 Carrera goes up on sale with JDM tuning

Bring a Trailer has this rare 1987 Porsche 911 Carrera on sale right now, tuned by Japanese customizer Rauh-Welt Begriff (RWB). Car for a closer look?

The body kit may not look quite as extreme as RWB’s later works, but the design philosophy is still the same. A new spoiler lip at the front end, extreme bolt-on fender flares and a ducktail spoiler at the rear – all of it looks quite bold and changes the car in a permanent way. The wheel arches are cut out and the roof hatch is no more.

The elderly 911 rides on 17-inch FIKSE Wheels wrapped in Sumitomo HTR rubber, and uses Moton coilovers for a lower stance.

The cabin deserves a separate mention. The seats wear stylish black/yellow tartan patterns, the running boards and the pedals are made of aluminum, the gear selector is a custom short-throw model, and the steering wheel is MOMO Prototipo.

Rounding off the project is an extensive powertrain and exhaust upgrade that unfortunately isn’t detailed in the product description.
