Unfinished Porsche Boxster body kit costs $12.6k to pre-order

In late 2021, Vale Automotive shared 3D renderings of its proposed extreme body kit for the Porsche Boxster, which made it around 50 cm (20 inches) wider than stock. You can now place preorders starting from £10,999 (12,600 USD) before shipping and installation.

The company says it has only produced one kit so far using composite materials. Called the Porsche GT1, it makes the Boxster look uncannily like the ultra-rare 911 GT1 Straßenversion with certain features of other models thrown in for good measure.

Like the Straßenversion, the car gets an elongated rear end, but you have to look from the side to notice it. A glance from behind gives off light Bugatti Chiron vibes, while the nose manages to resemble the Porsche 918 Spyder and the Taycan EV at the same time. It is unclear whether the full package includes the roof fin featured in earlier sketches, but it looks like there is a new, large rear wing that was not in the project before.

It is official that the aerodynamically shaped wheels shown here are not included in the shipment. The lighting will be offered separately.
