A Hollmann dealership is selling an exceedingly rare 2019 Ferrari 488 Pista from the Italian automaker’s limited Piloti Ferrari series. The production quantity was between 40 and 100 units, according to different sources. This example has 85 km (53 miles) under its belt and is listed for €1,154,300.
Ferrari announced the Piloti series in 2018 as a way to celebrate winning the World Endurance Championship the year before. Only participants of the company’s client racing program had the privilege of buying these cars.
Despite such a heavy emphasis on motorsports, all cars were normal, street-legal 488 Pista examples. They wore WEC badges, Italian flag liveries and any starting numbers their owners felt like placing on them. The interior stayed stock aside from rare tricolor accents. The standard 3.9-liter V8 produced 720 PS (710 hp / 530 kW), enabling a sprint from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.85 seconds.
