The compact-sized light commercial van joined the French automaker’s lineup in the spring of 2021 only to drop out ahead of schedule.
According to motor.es, Renault found it too difficult to make the Express compliant with the new active safety requirements that entered into force in the EU in July.
With the van no longer being made at the Renault factory in Morocco, the company plans to replace it with the Dacia Jogger, which has been produced exclusively in Romania so far.
