Coming off a successful career of designing hypercars for other companies, Alexander “Sasha” Selipanov is now working on his very own track weapon.
The former designer and stylist of Bugatti, Koenigsegg and Lamborghini founded his own studio called Hardline27 in 2023, opening branch offices in Los Angeles and Berlin. The studio’s first project was an aftermarket wheel lineup for Tesla EVs, which he co-designed with Unplugged Performance.
Selipanov is now getting ready to premiere his first independent creation, a mid-engined hypercar with gull-wing doors and an impressive rumbling engine. It’s called Nilu27 and is not electrified.
The premiere is scheduled for some time in late 2024.
