2024 Skoda Enyaq gets revised engines options, new top trim

Skoda has facelifted the all-electric Enyaq SUV and coupe-SUV models, landing them with technical upgrades and a new top trim called Laurin&Klement (L&K). The name suffix ‘iV’ is no longer used.

Buyers can choose between a single-motor and a dual-motor spec, but both deliver 286 PS (282 hp / 210 kW) to the wheels. The RWD version needs 6.7 seconds for the launch – nearly two seconds faster than before the update – and the AWD version is slightly ahead with 6.6 seconds. Both hit their acceleration ceiling at 180 km/h (112 mph).

Improved battery management leads to more driving range per charge: 570 km (354 miles) in the RWD version and 550 km (342 miles) in AWD. For comparison’s sake, the pre-facelift Enyaq maxed out at 520 km (323 miles) with an inferior 180-PS (178-hp / 132-kW) engine.

Another important novelty comes in the form of battery pre-heat feature. Audi promises to add it to the rest of the Enyaq lineup before the end of the year. Last but not least, new infotainment software makes the UI look more up-to-date and easier to use.

The L&K trim version offers an extended list of features and unique trim opportunities. By default, the car ships with a Crystal Face radiator grille illuminated by 131 LEDs. It offers particularly comfortable seats with massage and ventilation features and rides on special wheels available in sizes up to 21”. The leather trim can be either beige or black with dark chrome details.
