A retro-futuristic big rig known as the Peterbilt is on sale in the USA right now for an asking price of $65,000. The seller claims the vehicle is unique and was created in the early 1980s for the TV series The Highwayman.
Don’t jump to any conclusions after looking through the photos, though. The seller insists that the body is in good condition, just missing the paint. Power comes from an almost-new Detroit Diesel engine rated at 700 hp (710 PS; 522 kW). The mileage is reportedly as low as 5,000 miles (a touch above 8,000 kilometers).
The listing mentions that, once restored and painted, the vehicle can make a great rental truck or promo vid prop. It can also be converted into a motorhome.
