Toyota’s in-house tuning company Modellista has shared some pictures of its first tuning kit for the Toyota Crown Sport hatchback, which went on sale mere days ago. The idea of the kit is to strip the model of its ‘rugged’ charms and go for a sporty-aggressive aesthetic instead. Oh, and there’s a pillow inside that can turn into a useful bag.
First things first, though. The Japanese tuner proposes outfitting the five-door hatchback with front bumper and side sill extensions, as well as a modified rear bumper. As a result, the car no longer looks like a fake off-roader. Options include 21-inch wheels and different side mirror covers with chrome inserts.
The full list of accessories is extensive and mentions a pillow-bag, among other things. When zipped up, it serves as a regular pillow for the rear seat occupants, seamlessly blending in with the interior. Unzipping it lets you unfold it into a practical and roomy cloth bag.
The full aero kit costs 258,500 Yen. The wheels add another 286,000 Yen, and the pillow-bag is the cheapest option on the list with a price of 9,900 Yen.
