Zeekr announces four facelifts for late 2025

The Zeekr 001, 007, X and 7X models will all be overhauled in the second half of the year, the automaker’s just-released EV strategy states. All four cars get modest exterior and interior updates, while the X and the 7X enjoy some tech upgrades as well.

The refreshed Zeekr X SUV will go on sale in September. Aside from minor aesthetic tweaks, it will land with a new battery pack designed by Geely. There’s not much known about it so far. The current spec ships with a 49-kWh LFP pack and a 66-kWh NMH one to choose between.

In turn, the new 7X will be equipped with a modern Thor-U chipset for ADAS features. It will also support 900V internals, like the latest-and-greatest Zeekr 9X hybrid. With 900 volts flowing in its metal veins, the 7X will replenish its battery charge from 20 to 80 percent in nine minutes.

As for the models 001 and 007, both will make do with purely cosmetic and possibly some ergonomic improvements. The 001 will also be getting the Thor-U hardware and the 900V power internals. More will be revealed in the final quarter of the year, the company says.
