Car manufacturer Aurus has brought two new cars, the Senat Limousine L700 and the Senat S600 sedan/saloon, to the ongoing 89th Geneva International Motor Show.
The cars share the same hybrid powertrain consisting of a 4.4-liter turbocharged V8 engine and an electric motor, both linked to a nine-speed automatic transmission designed by Russian company KATE. The nominal output of the setup amounts to 600 horsepower (447 kilowatts). The sedan/saloon takes six seconds to sprint to 100 km/h (62 mph), while the limo needs nine to accomplish the same.
Both models feature an AWD system with active torque control and a rare suspension design (double-wishbone in front, per-wheel multilink in the rear). Both have roll stabilizers and active shock absorbers.
The Senat S600 sedan measures 5,630 mm (18.5 ft.) long and can be ordered with or without armor cladding. The Senat Limousine L700 always ships armored.
Standard equipment includes automatic emergency brake, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitor, ERA GLONASS urgent response system and pedestrian/traffic sign detection.
Regardless of which body style you choose, the car will ship with a fridge inside, a special compartment for crystalline glasses, a wireless phone charger, massaged seats, and leather-trimmed, metal-rimmed folding tables.
