Tuner shop HGP has introduced a power upgrade for the Cupra Ateca crossover/SUV series.
The car leaves the assembly line equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine good for 300 hp (224 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lbft) of torque. The kit should improve the output to a magnificent 480 hp (358 kW).
The upgrade boils down to installing a 150-mm steel catalyst, better turbochargers, a K&N air filter add-on, and some other components.
Once finished, the tuning brings the Cupra Ateca on par with such industry benchmarks as the BMW X5M and Mercedes GLE63 AMG.
Prices should be available upon request.
