2022 Audi A8 is a little bit of show, even less go

Audi may have doubled its crossover and SUV sales over the recent years, but the A8 sedan is still its staple model that deserves due attention. The fourth generation has now received this attention in the form of a mild facelift.

The radiator grille grows wider in the 2022 facelift, and the nose now sports more chrome overall. The side air intakes on the front bumper have become vertical, necessitating redesigned headlights. For the first time on record, the car can be obtained with an S Line package adding sporty accents borrowed straight from the S8 series.

For the exterior, buyers can now choose from four new Metallic finishes including District Green, Firmament Blue, Manhattan Grey and Ultra Blue, and five Matte ones named Daytona Grey, Floret Silver, District Green, Terra Grey and Glacier White.

Novelty is scarce in the cabin, where you can now put an optional HUD display and two center console displays measuring 10.1 and 8.6 inches across.

The refreshed A8 will reach showrooms in Europe in December and will cost €99,500+.
