In the latest video from Carwow, a Chevrolet Corvette C8 goes up against an entry-level Porsche 911 Carrera and an Audi R8. Real-wheel drive seems to be the only thing the three have in common.
Powering the Chevy is a 6.2-liter naturally aspirated V8 rated at 482 PS (475 hp / 354 kW) and 613 Nm (452 lb-ft) of torque. The sports car tips the scales at 1,655 kilograms (3,650 pounds).
The relatively affordable Porsche packs a 3.0-liter twin-turbo flat-six engine dialed up to 385 PS (380 hp / 283 kW) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft). It is the lightest of the three with 1,509 kg (3,325 lbs) of curb weight.
Rounding off the list is the Audi R8, which relies on a 5.2-liter V10 with 570 PS (562 hp / 419 kW) and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque to propel its 1,609 kg (3,550 lbs) forward.
The Audi looks like a clear favorite of the race. The C8 Corvette surpasses the 911 Carrera in terms of raw output, but the Porsche weighs less and is, well, a Porsche.
