Video: Audi RS6 meets Lambo Urus on a wet track

CarWOW has decided to see just how well an Audi RS6 Avant would perform in a drag race against a Lamborghini Urus on wet asphalt.

Powering the Avant is a twin-turbo V8 with four liters of displacement and a mild hybrid system that yields 600 PS (592 hp / 441 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) total. An eight-speed automatic transmission sends the power to all four wheels, and the family hauler weighs in at 2,075 kg (4,575 lbs). Prices in Great Britain begin at £94,500.

The Urus packs the same engine boosted to 650 PS (641 hp / 478 kW) and 850 Nm (627 lv-ft). It lacks electrification and also uses an eight-speed A/T and AWD. The curb weight amounts to 2,199 kg (4,850 lbs), and the starting price is £160,000.

As you can see, the duo performed about equally well on wet asphalt, but things went differently on dry road.
