BMW M3 Touring gets a special edition and 3 tuning options from G-Power

The German tuning gurus over at G-Power have concocted a customization program for the G81 BMW M3. Known as the G3M Bi-Turbo Touring, it is obtainable in at least three boost variants.

Opting for the most power available nets you 700 PS (690 hp / 515 kW) along with 850 Nm (627 lb-ft) of peak torque. Among other things, it necessitates a new air intake, different downpipes and an ECU remap. The tuner doesn’t reveal how much faster the wagon becomes with these upgrades, but it should be much more capable than the stock version with its 510 PS (503 hp / 450 kW) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque. The asking price in Germany is €15,852.

Should that much power prove to be too much, customers may always opt for a package called GP-600. Like its name suggests, it raises the output of the stock 3.0-liter inline-six to 600 PS (592 hp / 441 kW), while the torque maxes at 750 Nm (553 lb-ft). It’s also much cheaper at just €3,090. There’s also a 650-PS (641-hp / 478-kW) option on the list for those interested.

Considering that a stock M3 Touring can go from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.6 seconds, G-Power’s version of it must feel like a track rocket. And if you are looking for something special, the company has just announced a limited edition (see video). It will be capped at 25 units and come with assorted exterior and interior extras.
