It stands to reason that sportier-looking coupes and sedans get tuned to supercar levels of power much more often than bulky wagons and cabriolets. Even so, it’s cool to see something being done in the less popular segment of the market. Case in point: the awe-inspiring G4M Bi-Turbo Convertible by G-Power.
The German tuner focused its main effort on the engine in this build. A high-end carbon-fiber air intake, HJS downpipes, a sporty exhaust system and a modified ECU came together to extract a solid 700 PS (690 hp / 515 kW) out of the engine along with 850 Nm (627 lb-ft) of torque.
We don’t know how much faster the M4 Cabrio sprints with these modifications, but G-Power claims it can attain a top speed of 310 km/h (192 mph). That’s considerably higher than the 280 km/h (174 mph) that you can unlock with the M Driver’s package.
In addition to the above, the full tuning package includes an extensive aero kit with a new carbon hood, an engine lid, bumper extensions for both ends and a Competition Sport-style front grille. 21-inch Hurricane RR forged wheels slotted into the arches.
Similar packages are already available for the remainder of the M4 lineup, as well as for most M3 models and even the compact M2, G-Power reminds.
