Car spies have come back with quite a haul today, wouldn’t you say? Here are the first photos of the fourth-generation BMW X3.
The newcomer is based on the CLAR platform of its predecessor, which lends itself well to ICE, hybrid and all-electric powertrains. While it might be too early to discuss looks, there is no missing the characteristic cuts below the radiator grille. If our guess is correct, the disguised SUV has huge ‘modern BMW’ nostrils where normal cars have their front grille. They seem to be marginally smaller than those of the new 4-Series, but only by a small margin.
In any case, the current generation (G01, watch the video for a reminder) is expected to stay on the market for at least another year and a half. This means the next-gen X3 will not be coming until early 2024.
