It’s Official: Bugatti Rimac moves to Croatia

Following the July news about a merger between Bugatti and Rimac, the two companies have now revealed the details of the deal.

The newly founded enterprise, Bugatti Rimac, will call Sveta Nedelja, Croatia, its headquarters. Mate Rimac, the founded of the namesake hypercar brand, has been appointed the CEO of the new company. The supervisory board includes Porsche Board Chairman Oliver Blum and Porsche CFO Lutz Meschke.

Ex-CEO of Bugatti, Stephan Winkelmann, has assumed the top managerial position at Lamborghini. Christophe Piochon, Bugatti’s former Managing Officer of Production and Logistics, is now the Brand President and Chief Operations Officer at the same time.

In the meantime, Bugatti will continue assembling its cars in Molsheim, where all of its 135 employees will keep their posts for the foreseeable future. The Bugatti-Rimac joint enterprise will begin its activity with 435 staff members on board, including 300 in Croatia.
